# Revokes

When Apple sees Scarlet misusing installs they revoke the app, then they need to re-certify that Scarlet is allowed for installs.

To prevent revokes from reaching you. You can setup an [anti-revoke](/scarlet/anti-revoke.md) - this *could* last you up to three years.
