# App Installations

Account certificates have a restriction by Apple which is why this method requires a computer. This restriction is that apps signed with these certificates **can't be installed over-the-air.** 

There is an exception for those who have a [**paid developer accounts**](https://developer.apple.com/programs/)**.**
